This accredited two (2) day face to face course is for individuals who are required by law to obtain or renew a dangerous goods driver licence in NSW.

Course is based on the latest edition of the Australian Code for the Transport of Dangerous Goods by Road and Rail.

A Dangerous Goods Driver Licence is only required for the transportation of dangerous goods by road in the following cases:

(a) in a receptacle with a capacity of more than 500L
(b) if there is more than 500kg in a single receptacle
(c) in the case of intermediate bulk containers (IBCs), where the total capacity of all IBCs is more than 3,000L or where any IBC is filled or emptied while on a vehicle.

This training course is the Nationally Accredited unit of competency TLILIC0001 Licence to transport dangerous goods by road.

Where a student is unsuccessful in completing the course and chooses to sit a reassessment:

  • a $96 reassessment fee is payable if the student has 15 or less questions remaining to be correctly answered; and
  • a $178 reassessment fee is payable if the student has 16 or more questions remaining to be correctly answered.

Where a student is unsuccessful in completing the course and chooses to re-sit the two day course again (whether or not they have attempted reassessment), a $368 course fee is payable.
